CNC Milling

Semester 2, 2009

As a part of our Fabrication Technologies design studio, we had to explore the possibilities of 5-axis CNC Milling. Using a 600 x 400 x 50mm piece of plywood as a base, we designed a 3D surface in Rhino and went through a series of simulations before milling a physical test piece out of the ply.
